Artist Statement:

This piece was created as a tribute to
my best friend that died the day before
my birthday. Through the hand-dying
and stitching I wanted to create the last
letter I will ever give him. This is a letter
that has been sewn shut so that only
his spirit in Heaven can be able to know
what is written inside.
